Frequently Ask Questions

How far in advance can I book transportation?

To ensure we will have a vehicle available when you need it, the farther in advance of your travel date that you can book, the better. We at Daquest Care Transport strives to accommodate same-day, last-minute reservations. Call when you’re ready to book, and we will do everything possible to meet your needs.

What does Ambulatory means?
Ambulatory means you are able to walk.
 
What does wheechair transferable means?

Ability to move to and from the wheelchair into the vehicle with assistance.

 

What methods of payment are accepted?
  1. Cash and Credit Card – AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, & Discover
  2. Checks are accepted with a valid and matching ID.
Do you allow family members or caregivers to ride along to an appointment?

Yes, 1 additional ride free but there is a small flat fee for each additional attendant.

Can I travel in my own wheelchair or motorized scooter?

Yes, we customize our transports to meet your needs.

Can you transport clients with oxygen?

Yes, transportation for patients using oxygen is performed in compliance with West Virginia State Law.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our standard cancellation policy is 30 minutes. If you need to cancel, we need to know at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled PICK-UP time – not your appointment time. If you don’t cancel your transport in advance, prior to us sending a driver, we will collect the cost of a one-way trip to your scheduled destination.

Will my information be shared with others?

No. We respect and observe patient and family privacy. There will be instances where drivers will, by default, gather pertinent information about your condition. This information is required to properly complete safe transport. Daquest Care Transport takes Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance seriously and mandates that all employees receive training on the proper handling of Protected Health Information.
